Tour Plan

Day 1:

: Arrive at Kochi airport/railway/bus station. Our representative will meet you on arrival and transfer you to Fort Kochi.

In the early era, Fort Kochi was the hub of spice trading and thus came under the control of the Portuguese, Dutch and British. This influenced the culture, art and food in Kochi to a great extent. Today, Fort Kochi stands as a living testament to its vibrant past, inviting visitors to delve into a captivating journey through time, where each cobblestone street and historical monument whispers tales of a bygone era. Here one could explore many historical monuments like the Dutch Cemetery, Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets, Jew Street, Mattancherry palace etc.

We wind up for today and shall drop you back to the homestay for the day.

Day 2:

: Wake up to a beautiful day and enjoy your delicious Kerala breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast check out of the hotel and start the Kumbalangi Village Tour.

Kumbalangi, a model fishing village and tourism hotspot. Here visitors can immerse themselves in diverse natural beauty while experiencing the exemplary ecological balance that defines this model tourist destination. After arriving at Kumabalangi start the day by boat riding in the big country boat (provided with chairs and caps). Visit the Crab farm. Watch coir yarn making and coconut leaves weaving. Visit the agriculture farm (about 12 acres) and see different types of plantations (coconut, betel nuts, pepper, jack fruit, nutmeg, anthurium, orchids, vanilla etc.), water harvesting ponds and biogas plants. Watching Chinese fishing nets. Subsequently, enjoy lunch at the backwater front hall.

Later we will transfer you to the homestay at Kumbalangi.

Day 3:

Today after early breakfast we depart for Munnar which is 120 km away from Kochi and a thrilling 4 - 5 hrs ride through winding roads and hill slopes.

It’s a small, seductively beautiful hill station with large tea plantations which was once the summer resort for the British Government. En route, we shall make pit stops at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls.

On reaching Munnar we will check you into a homestay and you can relax for the day.

Day 4:

Start your day early as you embark on a scenic journey to Kolukkumalai, renowned for having the highest organic tea plantations in the world. The route to Kolukkumalai starts from the town of Munnar approximately 32 kilometers away. Kolukkumalai is only accessible by jeeps because of the rugged terrain. Jeeps are available from the town of Suryanelli and it takes you about 2 hours to reach the drop-off point after which you have to trek.

Our cab will take you to the commencement point of the Kolukkumala jeep safari, where you will then be transferred to the jeep that will take you to the Kolukkumalai Sunrise Viewpoint. After spending time at Kolukkumalai depart to Munnar and we shall wind up for today.

Day 5:

After breakfast check out and head towards Meesapulimala, we shall travel a distance of 24 km from Munnar via Mattupetty estate for 1.30 hrs and will reach the base camp of Meesapulimala.

Stay over in the tents and enjoy the chillness of Munnar in the Base Camp situated at an altitude of about 6000 feet. Enjoy the night in the outdoors by sitting around the campfire and savouring a delicious supper.

Day 6:

Prepare yourself for the ascent of the second-highest peak in the Western Ghats on the following day. The guided trek is scheduled to commence at 5:00 am. The breathtaking scenery from the mountaintop, occasionally hidden by drifting mists, is sure to capture your attention and leave you in awe. Later brunch will be served upon returning to the base camp.

Upon completing the trek, you will be transferred to the homestay in Munnar, offering a seamless conclusion to the day's adventure.

Day 7:

After breakfast check out of the stay and we head towards Thekkady, which is a beautiful hill station that houses Periyar Tiger Reserve spanning 777 sq. Km. Thekkady is also famous for its home-grown spices.

Upon arrival in Thekkady, visit the Elephant camp. Here, you'll have the opportunity to bathe and even feed these majestic creatures. It's a heartwarming and memorable experience for animal lovers.

Next, a visit to the spice farm, where you'll be immersed in the aromatic world of spices that Kerala is renowned for. We shall wind up for today and drop you back at the hotel for the day.

Day 8:

After a delightful breakfast, we will take you to Periyar National Park where you can purchase tickets for nature walks, bamboo rafting or boating. The park boasts a diverse range of wildlife, offering you the chance to witness a captivating array of animals in their natural habitat.

In the evening you can attend captivating Kalaripayattu and Kathakali performances, showcasing the rich traditions of martial arts and classical dance.

Later we will take you to the hotel concluding activities of the day.

Day 9:

Start your day with an early check-out from the hotel, skipping breakfast, as you head towards Alleppey, rightfully known as the Venice of the East. Famous for its backwater holidays, houseboats, and mouth-watering spicy cuisines, Alleppey is approximately 140 km from Thekkady, requiring a 4-hour drive, so be sure to commence your journey early.

Check-in to your houseboat at 11:30 am where you would be spending the day and night. The houseboat slowly cruises into the backwaters while you savour welcome drinks, and a halt is made for lunch, freshly prepared on board.

Relax as the houseboat drifts through picturesque waterscapes and canals. In the evening, treat yourself to Kerala Tea with a selection of local snacks. The boat anchors near the shore at 5:30 pm, respecting the prohibition of night travel for fishing activities. Enjoy a delicious dinner prepared on board before retiring for the night.

Day 10:

Wake up to a beautiful day and enjoy your delicious Kerala breakfast in the houseboat. Check-out and we shall take you for the 3-hour backwater ride in your canoe with your canoe ride driver.

You will see a lot of other canoes, shikara and houseboats and be ready to grab some amazing pics. As the canoe moves through beautiful waterscapes you can see the inlands of Alleppey and explore the toddy shops.

Later we will take you to the homestay near Marari Beach. Spend your evening enjoying the serene surroundings and witness the incredible sunset at Marari Beach.

Day 11:

Wake up early to catch the beautiful view over the Arabian Sea. Marari Beach offers a peaceful and undisturbed setting for a breathtaking view.

Spend your day at leisure on the beach or the stay. Whether you prefer sunbathing, reading a book, or taking a refreshing swim in the sea, Marari Beach provides an ideal setting for relaxation. .

There's an option for a two-hour kayaking session, consider the option for kayaking to glide through the calm waters and enjoy the panoramic views.

Day 12:

After a delightful breakfast, check out from your accommodation in Marari and proceed to Kumarakom. The journey to Kumarakom is scenic, passing through the picturesque landscapes of coastal Kerala. Guests are responsible for arranging their accommodation in Kumarakom. Numerous resorts in Kumarakom are positioned along the backwaters, offering a tranquil and opulent atmosphere.

Later you may indulge in a rejuvenating Ayurvedic spa session at the resort. Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine, offers treatments to promote wellness and balance.

Day 13:
