Tour Plan

Day 1:

Arrive at Kochi airport/railway station / bus station.Our representative will meet you on arrival and transfer you to Kumarakom.

The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favourite among tourists. The enchanting backwater here offers boating and fishing options.



On reaching Kumarakom check-in to your resort which is located on the banks of Vembanad lake and spend your time at leisure. Most resorts here offer many activities like boating, fishing, cycling etc.

Later evening ,we will drop you back at resort and wrap up the tour for the day.

Day 2:

After breakfast check-out of resort and we shall start our journey to Alleppey righteously known as Venice of East. Alleppey has an important place in maritime history of Kerala. It's famous for backwater holidays, houseboats and spicy mouth watering cuisines. Alleppey is about 40 kms from Kumarakom and around 1 hrs drive.

At Alleppey you will take a 3 hour backwater ride in your own Shikara with your Shikara ride driver.You will see a lots of other canoes , shikara’s and house boats and be ready to grab some amazing pics.Post the ride we suggest you to try the Kerala lunch available in near by restaurants.



Post lunch we will take you to your home stay near Marari Beach.Enjoy your evening and incredible sunset view at Marari Beach.

You can also choose any of the 3 other upgrade options and are available as per request.

Day 2: Upgrade to Canoe Ride

You will take a 3 hour backwater ride in your own canoe with your canoe ride driver.You will see a lots of other canoes , shikara’s and house boats and be ready to grab some amazing pics.Post the ride we suggest you to try the Kerala lunch available in near by restaurants as no lunch will be provided in Canoe ride.

Day 2: Upgrade to House Boat Ride

You will take a 4 hour backwater ride in your own House Boat with your House boat ride driver. The houseboat was traditionally used by merchants to transport rice from Alleppey to Kochi and those days the shipping took days and boats were equipped with basic amenities to stay comfortably during the shipment.You will have a welcome drink and the boat halts for lunch which is freshly prepared in-house.

Day 2: Upgrade to House Boat Stay

Check-in to your houseboat at 11:30 am where you would be spending the day and night. The house boat slowly cruises into the backwaters while you enjoy your welcome drinks and the boat halts for lunch which is freshly prepared in-house.

The houseboat drifts through beautiful waterscapes and canals while you sit back and enjoy the view. Evening you will enjoy a Kerala Tea with few Kerala snacks. The boat is anchored near shore at 5:30 pm for the day as night travel is prohibited for fishing activities.Enjoy dinner prepared in-house and retire for the day.

Day 3:

Wake up to a beautiful day and enjoy your delicious Kerala breakfast. Check-out of your home stay / boat by 8:30 am and we shall drop you at airport/railway station/ bus station in Kochi for your departure. Kochi is 60 kms away from Alleppey and is 2 hrs drive.

Based on your departure plan we could visit Fort Kochi. In early era Fort Kochi was the hub of spice trading and thus came under the control of Portuguese, Dutch and followed by British. This influenced the culture, art and food in Kochi to great extend. Here one could explore many historical monuments like Dutch Cemetery, Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets, Jew street, Mattancherry palace etc. Also enjoy a cruise in backwaters of Kochi.

Time to wrap up our beautiful backwater tour and we shall drop you at departure point in Kochi.
